Pursuant to Article 32 and Clause 1, Article 33 of Decree 30/2020/ND-CP, there are the following provisions:
(1) Stamp the signature
- A signature seal is a seal stamped on the signature of the person competent to sign for issuance of a document, this is a seal affirming the legal validity of the document.
- How to stamp signature:
+ Stamp after being signed by a competent person, do not stamp without a signature.
+ When stamping a signature, the stamp must cover about 1/3 of the signature on the left side.
+ The stamp must be clear, neat, in the right direction and properly use the red mark as prescribed.
(2) Hanging stamp
How to stamp: Prescribed by the head of the agency or organization. Usually, when stamping the hanging, it is affixed to the first page, covering part of the name of the agency, organization or the name of the appendix attached to the main text.
Note: The Hanging stamp on a document does not affirm the legal validity of that document, but only serves to affirm that the document with the hanging stamp is part of the main document.
(3) Stamp the overlapped seal
How to stamp: overlapped seal affixed to the middle of the right edge of the text or text appendix, covering part of the paper; Each stamp has a maximum of 05 sheets of text.
Note: The regulations apply to state-owned enterprises, but non-state enterprises can also apply.
